The Problem We're Solving
The racial wealth gap in America is not just a statistic β it's a systemic barrier that limits opportunities for millions of young people of color. The typical white family holds about 6.3 times the wealth of the typical Black family β and 4.6 times that of the typical Hispanic family (Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances, 2022). This affects access to education, homeownership, business opportunities, and generational wealth transfer. EmpowerEd exists to break this cycle by equipping the next generation with the knowledge and skills to build wealth and create lasting change.
